DALE M. AUGUSTINE

Dale M. Augustine, age 62, of 1221 S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died on Tuesday,
March 23, 2010.
Dale was born on May 12, 1947, in Manitowoc, son of the late Michael N. and
Thelma (Radey) Augustine. He attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from
Lincoln High School with the class of 1965. Dale married the former Connie
Gotter on June 25, 1965, at St. Boniface Catholic Church. Dale was employed at
Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry for 42 years until his retirement and also ran D and
C Tax Services for many years. He was a member of First Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,
Vans Athletic Club, Jayco Camping Club, and Lakes Regional Labor Council. He was
a member of the bargaining committee of Local Union No. 125 as well as serving as
president and secretary-treasurer. He was also secretary-treasurer for the
Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry Employees Credit Union for 25 years until his
retirement.
Survivors include his wife: Connie Augustine, Manitowoc; two children: Ronald L.
Augustine, Manitowoc; Sarah M. Augustine, Manitowoc; three grandchildren: (private);
mother-in-law: Loretta Gotter, Manitowoc; two brothers and one sister-in-law:
Gerald (Patricia) Augustine, Manitowoc; Timothy Augustine, Manitowoc; five sisters
and two brothers-in-law: Joanne Herman, Manitowoc; Rosemary (Richard) Miller,
Manitowoc; Shirley Kopatz, Green Bay; Susan Augustine, Kansas City, Mo.; Linda
(Jeff) Mott, Green Bay; two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Stan (Elaine) Gotter,
Manitowoc; Debbie (Jim) Wochos, Two Rivers; special friend: Mary Reno, Manitowoc;
18 nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in
death by his parents; one son: Shawn Augustine; father-in-law: Edgar Gotter; two
brothers and sisters-in-law: Michael "Augie" (Kay) Augustine; Gregory Augustine,
Wendy Juul; nephew: Gary Kopatz.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2010, at First
Lutheran Church, 521 N. 8th St., Manitowoc. The Rev. Roald Harswick will officiate.
Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call on
Friday at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 S. 8th St., Manitowoc,
from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again at church on Saturday from 9 a.m. until 10:45
a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Dale's name.
