When Bert Elvin Clark was born on September 11, 1923, in Magna, Utah, his father, Guy Albert was 30 and his mother, Hazel Maudella Jones, was 29. In 1930 he was living in Township 47, Kootenai, Idaho, USA. In 1940 he was living in American Fork, Utah, Utah with his mother and her 2nd husband. He married Bessie Mae Green on May 29, 1948. They had six children during their marriage. He died on February 5, 1991, in Orem, Utah, at the age of 67, and was buried in American Fork, Utah.

Bert Elvin Clark, 67, Orem, died Feb. 5, 1991, following a stroke.

He was born Sept. 11, 1923, in Magna to Guy Albert and Hazel Maudella Jones Clark. He married Bessie Green May 29, 1948, in Reno, Nev. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.

He was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Timpanogos Park 3rd Ward. He had been a temple worker in the Provo Temple.

He attended schools in American Fork. He had been employed at Geneva Steel and as a tile setter on construction.

He is survived by his wife of Orem; two sons and three daughters: Dennis Clark, Orem; Judy Hatch, Farmington; Elvin Clark and Cindy Green, both Pleasant Grove; and Debbie Hawkins, Tacoma, Wash.; 23 grandchildren; two greatgrandchildren; one sister and two brothers: Earl Clark, Mesa, Ariz.; LeRoy Clark and June Covington, both Pleasant Grove.

Services were held Friday, Feb. 8, in the Timpanogos Park 3rd Ward Chapel, Orem. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery with full military rites by VFW District Four.
