Leslie Aloysius Dietz, 83, of Libertyville died Thursday, April 19, 2012, peacefully at Condell Hospital. Mr. Dietz belonged to the Carpenters Union Local 1996 in Libertyville for over 40 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Monica A. Dietz; daughter, Leslie Ann (Richard) Jager; grandson, Jeffrey Jager; brother, Francis Dietz and his sisters, Delores Morris and Rosemary Matousek. He is survived his son, Daniel (Karen) Dietz; and his four grandchildren, Monica Jager, Eric Jager, Thomas Dietz and John Dietz.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. April 27, at McMurrough Funeral Chapel, Ltd., 101 Park Place (Route 176, one block east of Milwaukee Ave.), Libertyville. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Fremont Center. Visitation is Thursday, April 26, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. If desired, memorial donations in Mr. Dietz's memory to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, would be greatly appreciated.
