Eva Idell Ellis Andrews was born on November 7, 1921 to the late I. F. Ellis, and Willie Hargis Ellis. She was one of five siblings.
She was married to Carsley William Andrews on November 5, 1939, sharing sixty-two year together and raising one son, Wayne. Idell was a stay at home mom, who’s life revolved around her family. Raising her son, caring for children, and helping her husband on the farm, made Idell’s life complete. On April 30, 2001, her husband Carsley passed away.
Besides her husband and parents; one brother, Othell Ellis also preceded her in death.
She was saved and united with Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she remains a member.
Idell will always be remembered as a caring and thoughtful person, who loved the Lord.
On November 8th 2013, at the age of 92, the Lord called Idell home. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services for Eva Andrews were conducted Monday, November 11, 2013 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Alexander Funeral Home with Elder Harold King officiating.
Joe Barber, Troy Driver, Jamie Fitzpatrick, Corey Fitzpatrick, Teddy Brawner, and Thomas Vester served as Pallbearers. Interment followed in the Haysville Cemetery.
Idell is survived by; Son, Wayne Andrews of Westmoreland, TN, Granddaughters, Kimberly (Josh) Vick of Brentwood, TN, and Mindy Andrews of Franklin, TN, Great Grandchildren, Abram, Kate, and Logan Vick of Brentwood, TN, Brother, I.F. Ellis Jr., and Sisters, Lea Britt, and Evell Tuck.
