Betty was born April 18, !925 to William J. White and Emma J. (Clifton) White on her father's birthday. She was born at home near Nickerson, Kansas. She passed away at Wichita, Kansas on November 9, 2013. Betty graduated in 1942 at Nickerson. After high school she went to Business College. She worked in Hutchinson, Kansas for awhile than moved to Wichita and worked at Cessna where she met Carl Chase. They married July 20, 1945. They had six children. Betty was a good seamstress and made most of her clothes. She also made beautiful quilts.
Betty is survived by two sons Carl Chase Jr. and Thomas Chase; one daughter Melody Rogers and her husband Mike; one sister Shirley Hause.
Preceding her in death were two sons; David Chase and Steve Chase; one daughter Betty Jane Chase Morris. One brother, William Donald White and her parents William J. White and Emma (Clifton) White.
A graveside funeral was held for her Saturday November 16, 2013 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She was cremated. Officiant was Joe Thomas, Jr.
