On November 1, 2013, Robert E. Abba went home to be with the Lord and join his wife, Doris and brother-in-law, James Addison. He leaves to cherish, his beloved children, Linda Abba Nieman, Robert J. Abba (wife Claudia), Cheryl Abba Dolan (husband Chriis), William Abba and Marianne Bacon (husband Bill); his brother, Charles Abba and sister-in-law, Kay Abba, sister-in-law, Joyce Addison, his loving 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was a deeply religious man, an extremely proud WWII veteran, retired from government service as a Labor Relations Specialist in U.S Customs, and avid painter. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, November 11 at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home, 9902 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA. A Catholic Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 12 at 10 a.m. at All Saints Church, 9300 Stonewall Road Manassas, VA with interment to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park, 9900 Braddock Road, Fairfax, VA.
