Geraldine Cossette Stewart, 92, of St. Marys, WV, died, January 23, 2009, at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Parkersburg, WV. She was born, April 1, 1916, in Ritchie County, WV, a daughter of the late John Edward and Leona Keller Barlow. She was a member of the George Street Church of Christ. She is survived by one daughter, Carol Stewart, two brothers, Randy Stewart and George Stewart all of St. Marys, WV, eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George W. "Soap" Stewart, one son, Earl Christian "Chris" Stewart, one daughter, Judith Ann Stewart, a great grandson, Shane Gaspers, and twelve brothers and sisters. Services will be held Monday, January 26, 2009, at 2 P. M. at the Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with the Rev. Darrel Gooden officiating. Interment will be in the St. Marys IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 P. M. Sunday and from 12 to 2 P. M. Monday at the funeral home.
