Funeral services were held Friday, at 11 a.m. in St. Boniface Catholic church of Waumandee for Mrs. George Adank, 82. The Rev. Joseph Brake officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Adank died Tuesday, Jan. 14, in the hospital at Arcadia after a brief illness. The former Annie Konter was born July 8, 1892, in the town of Montana, a daughter of John and Hedwig Cieminski Konter. She was married June 13, 1923, to George Adank at Waumandee. They farmed in the town of Montana.
Surviving with the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Beulah) Bautch of Independence and Mrs. Orville (Juanita) Schlesser of Cudahy, 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
There also is a brother: John Konter of LaCrosse. Preceding Mrs. Adank in death were a daughter, a son, two grandchildren, five brothers and two sisters.
