George Milton Snyder, 85, of Plantation, Fla., formerly of Milton, Ky., died Monday, Oct. 1, 2001, in Plantation.
He was born Oct. 17, 1915, in Sweet Springs, Ky., the son of William B. and America Snyder.
Surviving are his wife, Leah Luckett Snyder; two daughters, Leah Kinnird of Miami, Fla., and Cara Snyder of Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Delia Williams; and two brothers, Oscar and James Snyder.
Memorial services were to be held at 11 a.m. today at the Community Christian Church in Plantation. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. EDT Saturday at the Moffett Cemetery in Milton.
The Wood-Oakley Funeral Home in Milton is in charge of local arrangements.
