A native of Alamance County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Lemuel Saul and the late Mamie Estell Evans Saul and was married for over 50 years to William Felton Page, who passed in 2000. She was employed many years with Glen Raven Mills and was the owner and operator of Nan’s Dress Shop. Nannie Mae was a longtime member of Bethlehem Christian Church, where she was a member of the Ever Ready Sunday School Class and the Care and Share Club and was also involved in the Ladies Auxiliary of the Altamahaw-Ossipee Fire Department for over 25 years. Nannie Mae was loving, humble and kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt who loved her Lord and family.
Mrs. Page is survived by her two sons, Dennis Willard Page and William Mark Page of Elon; two grandchildren, Chrystal Bachmann and husband, Dave, of Charlotte and Denny Page and wife, Sara, of Mebane; five great grandchildren, Dillon Page, Madison Page, Taylor Page, Savanah Bachmann and Preston Bachmann; a step great grandchild, Julia Carter; two sisters-in-law, Johnnie Faye Saul and Bonnie Thompson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter-in-law, Carol Page; two sisters, Edna Saul and Pauline Marshall; four brothers, Willie Saul, Willard Saul, Buck Saul and Rufus Saul.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery by Rev. Todd Felkel and Mr. Leon Saul.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethlehem Christian Church, 3625 Altamahaw Church St., Elon, NC 27244.
