A graveside service for Kristopher Kiptyn Sparks, 3, of Hardin, TX, formerly of Carthage, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov 7, 2013 at Hardin Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Keenan Smith officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Kiptyn passed away on Saturday night, Nov. 2, 2013, in Carthage.

Kristopher Kiptyn Sparks was born on Nov. 30, 2009, in Longview, TX to Michael Alan Sparks and Halie Rhea West Bush. He has lived in Hardin for the past two years, moving from Carthage.

Kyptyn is survived by his parents Halie and Johnathan Bush of Hardin and Michael Sparks of Carthage; one brother, Rhealyn Bush of Hardin; grandparents, Jennifer Zett of Carthage, Gene and Bobbie West of Hardin, Nicky and Morgan Young of Carthage, and Helen and Pat Vanya of Hardin; great-grandparents, Mike and Jan Morgan of Carthage, Diane West of Hardin, Walter and Vicky Sparks of Carthage, and Donald and Tony Thompson of Henderson; great-great-grandparents, Bob Morgan of Winnie and Clara Mae Rogers of Gladewater; uncles, Coby West, Jace Zett, Jaden West, Tyler Sparks, and Rowdy and Brodie Young; aunts, McKenna Zett and Kaci West. Numerous great-aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Kiptyn.

Serving as pallbearers are Jace Zett, Coby West, Anthony Morgan, Zach Acuna, Tony Rabon, and Alex Harkrider.

Serving as honorary pallbearers are the Texas Longhorns Tee-Ball Team and Ryan Carlson.
