James Robinson 1854 – 1940
Martha Francis Caldwell 1858 – 1937

She married Thomas James Woody on Christmas Day in 1904.

ON JANUARY 8, 1920,
W.T. & Melda Woody, ages 38 & 34, were renting a home in Polk, Atchison Co, MO where he had a job doing farm work. Their children were Verna (son), age 14; Alma, 9; Elsie, 6; & Donna, 2 years & 3 months.

ON APRIL 19, 1930,
Thomas J. & Meta Woodie, ages 49 & 44, were renting a home in Hamburg, Fremont Co, IA where he worked in a nursery. Their children were Verna (son), age 24; Alma, 19; Elsie, 16; & Donald, 12.

Verna had a job working as a laborer in a dredge boat; Elsie had a job in a private family as a servant.

In 1935 Thomas & Meda lived in Roubidoux, Pulaski Co, MO.

ON MAY 25, 1940,
Thomas J. & Meda M. Woody, ages 55, owned a farm in Roubidoux, Pulaski Co, MO where he supported them by farming.

"Mrs. Woody Dies At Versailles
Versailles (Special) - Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at a Versailles funeral home for Mrs. Meda Woody, 80, who died Wednesday.

Mrs. Woody was born Feb. 2, 1885, in Pulaski County, the daughter of James and Martha Caldwell Robinson. She married Thomas J. Woody on Dec. 25, 1904. Mr. Woody died in 1963.

Mrs. Woody was a long time member of the Freedom Church near Versailles.

She is survived by one son, Bernie Woody of Council Bluff, Iowa; three daughters, Mrs. Donna Manes of Fortuna, Mrs. Alma Payne and Mrs. Elsie Luna, both of Tipton; one brother, Anton Robinson of Tacoma, Wash.; one sister, Miss Nellie Robinson of Lebanon.

The funeral services will be conducted by the Rev. Ivan Dameron of the Freedom Church. Burial will follow the funeral services at the Versailles Cemetery."
