Funeral services for Edward "Gene" Cagnon, 70, of Danbury will be held at 2:00pm Friday October 25, 2013 at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
Visitation will be held from 6:00pm to 8:00pm Thursday October 24, 2013 at Palms Funeral Home.
Edward Eugene Cagnon was born Jan. 15, 1943 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio to Edward J. and Goldie Cagnon. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and had worked for Dow Chemical for over 26 years. He retired in 2005 after being diagnosed with cancer. After a long hard 8 year battle with cancer he passed peacefully at his residence in Danbury.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Phyllis Cagnon of Danbury, sons, Scott Cagnon and wife Stephanie of Lufkin, Ken Cagnon and wife Jennifer of League City, brother, Jim Cagnon of Ohio, sisters, Sharon Sprinkles and husband, George, Judy Johnson all of Ohio, grandchildren, David Cagnon and wife Mandy, Amanda Cagnon all of Lufkin, Samantha and Daniel Cagnon of League City, great grandchildren, Emma and Alexander Cagnon of Lufkin.
