Miss Johnson was born Oct. 18, 1922, near LaMoure, N.D. She graduated from high school in LaMoure and attended Valley City (N.D.) State University. She taught elementary school for many years in Gladstone, Greenville and Pearl Lake Townships, all in North Dakota. She also taught in Ulen, and Underwood, both Minnesota, LaMoure and Fullerton, N.D., and Glendive, Mont. She retired after teaching in Roosevelt Elementary in Jamestown, N.D. She returned to LaMoure, and in 1995, she moved into Lisbon Care Center.
She is survived by a brother, Raymond, Lisbon.
