Doris MarJean Kanady 1941 - 2012

MarJean Kanady was born Nov. 20, 1941 in Salt Lake City, Utah to George Walton Boynton and his wife Doris Emma Butler. She was the third child in the family with two older brothers; Charles, who was 10 at the time and Leo who was 8. The brothers were excited to have a baby sister and it was they who gave her the name MarJean, a name she spent a life time correcting others in the spelling.

MarJean is survived by her husband, Ken, and her son, KC (Carmen), and grandchildren, Antonio and Ashleigh Kanady, Sacramento, California, and brothers, Charles (Marge) Boynton, St. George, Utah, and Leo (Elaine) Boynton, Sandy, Utah and nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Thurs. Oct. 25, 2012 at the Taylors Grove Ward, 4845 S. Woodhaven Dr. (1300 West) from 6-8PM. With additional viewing time on Oct. 26 from 10-10:45AM. Funeral services will be at the Taylors Grove Ward at 11AM, Oct. 26, 2012. Burial will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. 10600 S. in Sandy.

The family expresses a special thanks to those who have been so kind and thoughtful during this difficult time.
