Of County Dies

Mrs. W. F. Lindsay, aged 69, a pioneer resident of Jefferson County, died early yesterday morning in Dallas, Texas, where she had made her home for the past 18 months.
Mrs. Lindsey was a resident of Swan Lake for many years and was well known throughout the county as one of the most prominent women of this section, where she had made a circle of Friends during her many years' residence. Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay had removed to Dallas about 18 months ago and had made their home in that city, during that time.
Mrs. Lindsey is survived by her husband, W. F. Lindsey, two daughters, Mrs. Luella Murdaugh of Altheimer and Mrs. Will Minor of Dallas; four brothers J. F. Quattlebaum of Sherrill, Lee M. Quattlebaum of Sherrill, Lawrence M. Quattlebaum of Altheimer and J. D. Quattlebaum of Pine Bluff; and one sister, Mrs. J. M. Barrett of Sherrill.
The body will arrive in Pine Bluff this afternoon on the Cotton Belt train at 1:40 and the funeral services will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock from the home of her brother, J. D. Quattlebaum at 605 West Barraque. Services will be conducted by Rev. J. D. Rogers of Altheimer, assisted by Rev. J. W. Harrell.
The pall bearers will be:
Honorary-L. W. Clement, J. F. Clement, Bob Willis, C. H. Triplett, S. F. Vaulx, R. H. Williams and C. H. Burks. Active-Dan W. Hix, Dr. Ed Brunson, Pierce Gracey, J. R. Walt, S. B. Garrett and Robert Bowen.
