Earl G. Van Duesen, former Blair resident, died in Seattle, Washington, after a long illness.
He was born in Washington County to Claude C. and Josie McMurtrie Van Duesen May 11, 1908 and attended Blair Schools. He joined the Navy in 1928 and served through 1949 when he retired to take employment with the City of Seattle.
He is survived by his wife, Edna A. Van Duesen; a sister and brother-in-law, a sister-in-law and nieces and nephews.
