Special Correspondence.
Dillsburg, Pa., July 3. - The funeral of Mr. Washington Stouffer, sr. (sic), of near this place, was held on Monday morning. Services were held in the United Brethren church (sic) of this place and interment was made in the old grave yard. Revs. D.S. Shoop, of Mechanicsburg, and W.A. Dickson, of this place, officiated. The deceased was 77 years of age and was highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by a wife and eight children. Mr. Stouffer was twice married, three children surviving his first marriage, William Stouffer, Mrs. Joseph Sheffer, of this place, and Mrs. J.H. Deardorff, of Mechanicsburg, and five of the second marriage, Misses Rosa (sic), Mellie, and Rena, at home; Mrs. Clara (NOTE: typed as written in newspaper) and Ira Stouffer, of Harrisburg.
