Laura Rexroth Zimmerman Morrow, 81, died at 6:35 p.m. Sunday at Bethesda Care Center. Mrs. Morrow, a former Muscatine resident, had been living at East Moline, Ill., prior to entering Bethesda. Services will be held at the Fairbanks Lamb Chapel. The Rev. Douglas McGrow of Wesley United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Douglas Connor, Greg Connor, Rudy Rexroth, Curtis Rexroth, Kenneth Rexroth and Thomas Rexroth.
She was born Sept. 3, 1903, in Louisa County. She was married first to Henry Zimmerman and later to Arlos Morrow. Mrs. Morrow was a member of Christ's Methodist Church, East Moline. She was a graduate of the Hershey Hospital School of Nursing and was superintendent of Hershey Hospital from 1927 to 1954.
She is survived by two step sons, Wayne and Vance Morrow, one step daughter, Regina Finegan, Matoon, Ill., and a number of step grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, John A. Rexroth, Arlington, Va., Allen Rexroth, Silvis, Ill., and Charles Rexroth, Moline, Ill.; four sisters, Neva Rexroth, Martha Garner and Marjorie Conner, all of Muscatine and Colleen Sparling, ReGondio? Beach, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, three brothers, three sisters and a step son. Memorials may be made to Bethesda Care Center.
