S. Wayne Taylor, 77 of Mifflintown R.D.1, died in the Lewistown Hospital at 10:56 on Friday after a lengthy illness.
Mr. Taylor was born in Turbett Township, Juniata County, a son of the late David and Margaretta Clark Taylor. His wife, Clara Muldoon Taylor is deceased.
Children surviving are William Taylor of Mifflintown R.D.1; Mrs. Chester (Hazel) Landis of Dauphin, Dauphin County; Charles E. Taylor of Essex, Mo; Mrs. Helen T. Koons of Mifflintown R.D.1 and Mrs. Lester (Margaret) Helwig of Pottstown R.D, Montgomery County.
Other survivors include two brothers, Clark Taylor of Hollidaysburg, Blair County; Cecil Taylor of Yeagertown; and Mrs. Paul( Ruth)Bergy of Lansdowne, Delaware County; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Mr. Taylor was a member of the Arch Rock Methodist Church.
Services will be held in the Brown Funeral Home at Mifflintown Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in charge of the Rev. Edwin Rohrbeck.
