Robert Hamilton Dixon's father was Alexander Dixon; born in Canada Aug. 1830 or 1831. Died on July 26, 1904. Robert's mother was Sarah Jane Caldwell, who was born Sept. 1832. No death records have been found on Sarah Jane. Sarah Jane's parents were William Hamilton Caldwell and Sophronia Smart. Alexander Dixon's father was Robert Dixon, born in Ireland 1797 died: Aug. 12, 1881. Alexander's wife was Jane Baskin, also born in Ireland 1808 and died 1881.
