W. Earl Dover

Mr. William Earl Dover, 79, 201 Forest St., Fruitland Park, died Monday evening (April 16, 1979). Born in Litchfield, Ill., he moved to Fruitland Park many years ago from Chicago. He owned and operated a paint and body shop in Fruitland Park before his retirement.

Mr. Dover had been mayor of Fruitland Park for several terms and had also served as city commissioner and city judge. He had been a trustee and board member of Community United Methodist Church, was a member of Fruitland Park Lions Club, and American Legion and WW I veteran.

Survivors include his wife Mrs. Frances Grizzard Dover of Fruitland Park; a daughter, Mrs. June Adams of Brooksville; a granddaughter, Mrs. Linda Larsen of Yalaha; a great-granddaughter Jennifer Larsen and a sister, Pearl Hantla of Litchfield, Ill.
