Audrey L. Schwanke age 79, formerly of 2000 Johnston Drive, Manitowoc died Monday, June 10, 2013 at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center.
Audrey was born January 18, 1934 in Randolph, WI daughter of the late John and Verna Austin Samer. She attended schools in Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School. On September 8, 1951 she married Eldred E. Schwanke. He preceded her in death July 22, 2012.
She is survived by her four children: Dennis (Judy) Schwanke, Manitowoc; Denise (Andrew) Dusek, CA; Doreen (Mervin) Wilson, CA; Donna (Altaf) Hussain, Milwaukee; eight grandchildren; one sister: Lorna Paskey, Waupon; one brother and sister-in-law: Boyd (Shirley) Bryant, Montello; one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law: Ronald (Bernice) Schwanke, Brillion; Audrey Koch, Brillion; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Eldred; two sons: David Schwanke and Darrell Schwanke; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Jeannette (Hugo) Wolt; William Paskey.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th Street, Manitowoc. Rev. Duane Olson will officiate. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
