MEDINA Fred Abraham, 85, of Medina, died at 9 o'clock Thursday evening at New London after a long illness. He was born March 9, 1870, in the Town of Nekimi, moving to a farm near Medina when he was 17. He was a member of the Medina Methodist Church. He was married to Mina Haas, Nov. 22, 1898 and lived on a farm north of Medina until 1926 when they moved to the village of Medina. Survivors are the wife; one son, Theodore of Medina; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Haas, Dale, and Mrs. Hanna Hiddi, Flint, Mich., and several nieces and nephews. Three of his children preceded him in death. The body is at Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home, Hortonville. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday and at the church from 11 a.m. Sunday until the time of service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Daniel De Braal will officiate. Burial will be in South Medina Cemetery.
