Loree Farnes Cook, 88, the daughter of Caroline and Arthur Farnes, was born December 9, 1903 in Logan, Utah and received her invitation to graduate from this life on April 15, 1992 in Salt Lake City, Utah.She grew up in Logan attending the Woodruff, Logan Junior College in Logan and Utah State University, majoring in elementary education. Loree taught school for 10 years in Logan and 20 years in Rifle, Colo. She married Glade Lester Cook July 5, 1939 and was sealed to him September 17, 1965 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.She is survived by her son, Richard and his family, Patricia, Carl, Christopher, Stephen, Ann, Lisa, Nicholas, Cheri; her sister, Millicent Shaw and brother Wallace Farnes. She was preceded in death by Lois Farnes, Mardine Ewer, Arthur Farnes and Flora Nelson.Loree served faithfully in the LDS Church as Relief Society president and Sunday School teacher. She was a member of the daughter of Utah Pioneers.A service honoring Loree will be held Saturday, April 18, 1992 at noon with a viewing beginning, 11 a.m. at the Brighton 4th Ward, 2300 East Bengal Blvd. (7600 So.) Interment, Logan City Cemetery at approximately 3:30 p.m. next to her husband. Funeral directors: MacKay Cottonwood Mortuary.
