Mrs. Frank Svoboda, 80, did Friday afternoon at her home on Water Street, Algonquin. She was born in Algonquin, January 5, 1863, and had lived all her life in that town, save for a short period when she resided at Osseo, Wisconsin. Mrs. Svoboda attended Elgin Academy and for several years had taught in county schools in the Algonquin vicinity..
Survivors include the widower, three children, Lt. Frank Svoboda, formerly of Olivia, Minnesota, now attached to an infantry unit at Camp Croft, South Carolina; Miss Esther Svoboda of Oak Park, and Mrs. John Tucker of Stockton, California; a sister Miss Mary Lowe of Elgin, and brother, James Lowe of Algonquin; also 4 grandchildren survive. Two children preceded her in death..
