Herbert M. Jaffe, 87, a longtime corporate executive with Atlas Sound of Parsippany, N.J., died on Oct. 11 in Pompton Plains, N.J.
Born in Germany, educated in Belgium, and trained in the sound business at the RCA Institute, Mr. Jaffe was an enthusiastic American citizen who lived for 39 years in Livingston, N.J., before moving to Pompton Plains in 2009.
