EDNA, Texas, August 25. - Mrs. M. E. McChesney, a pioneer resident of this county, died at her home in this city late Friday afternoon after a long illness. She was surrounded by her childen and grandchildren when the end came and was laid to rest today at the Edna Cemetery, a large concouse of sorrowing friends accompanying the remains to their last resting place. Rev. Father Hendrix of the Catholic church officiated.
