Alice St. Pierre
Alice Angelette St. Pierre, 79, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano, died at Canon Hospice in New Orleans at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by four sisters, Angelina Poche of Larose, Antoinette "Toni" St. Pierre of Golden Meadow, Aline "Lynn" Williams of New Orleans and Audrey Becnel
of Thibodaux; one daughter, Kish St. Pierre Doucet and husband, Allen Joseph Doucet; and six brothers, Joseph Angelo of Lockport, Anthony "Tommy" of Metairie, Clarence "Ching" of Jacksonville, Ala., Ernest "Butch" of Cut Off,
Gerard "Gee Gee" of Camden, Ala., and Daniel "Pete" Angelette of Galliano.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwis Marcel St. Pierre; her parents, Angelo Lucien and Angelina Griffin Angelette; two brothers, Aubrey Angelette and
Claude Angelette; and one sister, Gertie Angelette.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting.
She was Catholic.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
