Larry L. Anderson, age 70, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2013, in Houston, Texas.

He was born on December 31, 1942, in Lusk, Wyoming, to Gerald L. and Nancy Byers (Vance) Anderson. On June 12, 1965, he was united in marriage to Rita Spangler in Gillette, Wyoming. She preceded him in death on February 8, 2005. Larry graduated from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology. He was a mechanical engineer and captain in the United States Army Corps of Engineers. He attended St. Matthew Episcopal Church in Comanche and was a member of Hope Masonic Lodge 481 in Comanche and Rock House Masonic Lodge 417 in Hamilton.

He is survived by his daughter, Suzanne and husband Bill of Houston; granddaughter, Sarah Mitchell of Houston; and nephew, Mark Skinner and family of Maryland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Nancy Anderson, and sister, Joan Skinner.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends at Comanche Funeral Home on Sunday evening 6-8 p.m.
GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 10 a.m. Monday, November 4, 2013, at Gardens of Memory Cemetery in Comanche County.
