--She married Ivan Whitcomb. They lived in a variety of places before coming to Charlotte about 1925. They had 6 children by 1940: 1. Martha Anita, 2. Sara E., 3. Harriet Louise, 4. James Henry, 5. Jean Patrick, and 6. Robert V. Whitcomb.
