Obituary from the Edwardsville Intelligencer, Edwardsville, Madison County, Illinois, Thursday, March 25, 1965, page 7:
   Funeral services for 83-year-old Albert L. LePage will be Friday at 2 p.m. from Lesley Marks Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert R. Hollis, pastor of Immanuel Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Valley View Gardens of Memory.
   Mr. LePage, of 307 Scott St., died Wednesday at 6:05 a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where he had been a patient 18 days. He was retired as a salesman and owner of an auto parts company. His previous residence was East St. Louis and St. Louis, Mo.
   Born Nov. 28, 1881 at French Village, he was the son of Joseph and Mary Pellptier LePage. His wife, the former Miss Sarepta Anna Wollbrink of St. Louis, died Aug. 5, 1958.
   Survivors are a sister, Sister Mary Calvary of San Antonio, Texas, and a niece, Mrs. Sydonia Guyette of East St. Louis.
   A veteran of the First World War, Mr. LePage was a member of the American Legion's Last Man's Club and World War I Veterans Barracks 977. He was a past commander of American Legion Post 199 and past president of WWI Company E 138th Infantry of St. Louis. He was also a member of the Henry Shaw Cactus Society of St. Louis, First Mississippi Valley Consistory Class and the Gothic Lodge of AF & AM No. 852 of East St. Louis.  Mr. LePage was a charter member of Ainad Temple and Queen City Chapter 697, Order of the Eastern Star, of East St. Louis.
   Visitation will be at the funeral home until the final rites. Members of WWI Barracks 977, under direction of Commander Reinhard Kruckeberg, will meet this evening at 7:30 at the funeral home. The group will also be in charge of graveside services. Pallbearers, all members of the Barracks, will be William Miller, William Homann, Joseph Bouse, Chester Holtgreve, Orville Harris and Otis Metzger.
