Carroll Marshall of Newport passed away on Wednesday October 30, 2013 at his home. He was a veteran of the U S Army having served during the Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his wife Frances Murr Marshall, sister and brother in law Mable and Furn Trantham, also 3 infant brothers.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Marshall, sons and daughters in law Marty Marshall and wife Debbie, Wesley Marshall and wife Tiffany, daughter and son in law Sonya Hurst and husband Robert, brother Jimmy Marshall and wife Cordie, grandchildren Makenzie Marshall, Makayley Marshall, Dakota Hurst, Addison Hurst; brothers in law and sisters in law Roger and Debbie Worth, Linda Worth, Bill and Marlene Murr, Charles Murr, Della McNabb, Doralee Greer, Edna Wilson, Bob and Mary Ellen Strange, several nieces , nephews, special friends and caregivers Kyle Buckner and Linda Worth.

Funeral services will be held 2 pm Saturday Nov. 2, 2013 at Centerview Missionary Baptist Church in Bybee with Pastor Ricky Witt and Glen Ball officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Centerview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:30 pm – 8 pm Friday at Manes Funeral Home.
