He married Leona Blanche Reams on August 12, 1936, in Bremerton, Washington. They had six children during their marriage. The first children were twins. Sadly one of the twins, Delores Jean, did not survive her birth.
Carl Lee moved his family to Washington in his early 30's. He worked at many different jobs during his life including being a flanger and a truck driver. His brothers and mother also moved to the state of Washington. It was there Carl Lee died on August 22, 1994, in Bremerton, at the age of 84.
