LANCASTER: Linda Marie Barnecut, 66 of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at her home with loved ones by her side.
She was born September 21, 1947 and was a graduate of Bishop Fenwick High School class of 1965. Linda was a member of St. Mary of The Assumption Catholic Church and a part of their bereavement ministry. She also worked at Rich's Drug Store (Fair Ave.) for the past 16 years.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Barnecut Jr.; parents, Carl and Bernadine (Shonbarger) Soles and her in-laws, Paul Sr. and Helen (Carpenter) Barnecut.
Linda is survive by her children and grandchildren, Karla (Cosper), Corey, Lillian and Alexis of Logan, Ohio; William, Carrie, Collin, Ashton, Gabrielle and Nicholas of Lancaster; Debra, John, (Vance), Ashlynn, Skyler and Johnathan of Sugar Grove, Ohio; Michael, Alyssa, Jocelyn, and Anthony of Lancaster, Elizabeth of Lancaster, Michelle of Lancaster. Many honorary children and grandchildren, you know who you are and how much you meant; she is also survived by her sister, Ruth Ann Fulton of Gainesville, Florida; brother-in-law, Dan; nieces and nephews, Christopher, Jonathan, Sara and Rachel; and a great-nephew, Brandon.
A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday November 4 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church with Fr. Craig Eilerman as Celebrant.
Burial will follow at Forest Rose Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Sunday, November 3 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the SHERIDAN FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to FairHoPe Hospice or the Ohio State University James Cancer Center (melanoma cancer research).
