Tri-County Scribe (Plymouth, IL) of Oct. 11, 1951
Miss Anna Elva Hedgcock, 76, lifelong resident of Birmingham Township, passed away yesterday (Wednesday) after a long decline in health. She had been cared for by her sister, Miss Matilda Hedgcock, in the home they shared, until Matilda passed away. Since then, she has been cared for in Macomb.
She was the daughter of Andrew J. and Martha Hall Hedgcock, having been born on May 16, 1875 in Schuyler County, near Plymouth. Of this prominently known family, Mrs. Bessie Dorsett of Augusta, is the only surviving member, the brothers, Robert and John Hedgcock, having passed on. There are numerous Nieces and nephews which survive.
Funeral services were in charge of the Cookson Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Clark of Carthage officiating. Burial was in Round Prairie Cemetery.
