Francis C. Auleta, 78, of the Leisuretowne section of Southampton, passed away Tuesday, October 29, 2013, with his family by his side at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center, Camden. Born in New York, NY, Frank resided in Cherry Hill most of his life before moving to Leisuretowne in 2000. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. Frank enjoyed working with computers, and was an avid New York Football Giants fan.
Father of the late Cheryl Auleta; grandfather of the late Christine Simon; he is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Frances C. (nee Drag) Auleta; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Thomas Auleta, Michael Auleta and his fiancé Joanne Giorgianni, and John and Paulette Auleta; two daughters and a son-in-law, Mary Beth Auleta and Terri and Harvey Simon; and six grandchildren, Samantha, Taryn, Joseph, Nickolas, Jeffrey and Aaron.
Relatives and friends may call on Sunday, November 3, 2013, from 5-7PM, at the Mathis Funeral Home, 58 N. Main St., Medford, NJ. The viewing will continue on Monday, November 4, from 10-11AM, at the Church of the Holy Eucharist, 520 Medford Lakes Rd., Tabernacle, NJ. A funeral mass will follow at 11AM, at the church. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Frank's memory to PKD Foundation, 8330 Ward Parkway, Suite 510, Kansas City, MO 64114; or to Our Lady of Lourdes Transplant Center, 1600 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.
