United in marriage on January10, 1839
with Andrew Trulock/Truluck. To this
union 11 known children were born. Some
of the dates of the children are unknown,
except for census records, military
records, family records or found stones.
Both sons killed in Civil War were on
active duty less than a year when they
died or were killed in war. Those
listed as Decatur County are because
county was not split and become Grady
County until 1905.

Note: Per Census records surname is
spelled Truluck and Trulock. Seems
different branches use one or the
other spellings. Youngest son Daniel
used Truluck. Memories written by her
1st cousin in 1898, say last name is
Truluck, so very hard to say which it
truly was.

Andrew and Nancy's known children are:

PVT Charles Trulock 1839-1862,
Confederate-Died & Buried in Maryland
in the Civil War- Findagrave memorial
#1706055

PVT William Trulock 1840-1861,
Confederate-Burial unknown. Died in
Civil War per records.

Sarah Trulock 1842-1868,
Unknown if married or place of burial.

Sutton Trulock 1844-bef 1860,
Decatur County, burial unknown.
Not in 1860 census.

Robert Trulock 1847-1872,
Decatur County, burial unknown.
Not found at all in any 1870 census,
so death year may be wrong.

Alexander Trulock 1848-bef 1860,
Decatur County, burial unknown.
Not in 1860 census.

Joseph Trulock 1850-1863,
Decatur County, burial unknown.

Rebecca Trulock 1853-1862,
Decatur County, burial unknown.

Thomas Trulock 1856-1875,
Decatur County, burial unknown.

Martin Trulock 1859-1862,
Decatur County, burial unknown.

Daniel Truluck 1864-1923,
Shreveport, Bossier, Louisiana.
FindAGrave memorial # 71757181

Since the family remains were moved
to this cemetery, it is very possible
that these children were once in same
cemetery, but had no markers & remains
were not found (?), or were buried in a
different cemetery with unmarked graves.

Records show many in the Butler family
died in Decatur County, Georgia.
Actually, many died in what is now Grady
County. Being very large in size, over
the years, three additional counties
were split-off from Decatur County:
in 1825 - Thomas, in 1905 - Grady and
in 1920 - Seminole.
