She was of the Methodist Faith and a member of the Stephensport United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; William T. and Pattie Jean Morton Shellman.
She is survived by her husband; Dennie Smith, 2 daughters; Pamela Jean Hanks, Melissa Ann Dowell, a sister; Maggie Klatt, 3 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Burns Funeral Home in Cloverport, KY from 5-8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 and after 9 a.m. until time for services on Thursday, June 13, 2013.
Funeral services will be held at Burns Funeral Home in Cloverport, KY at 11:00 a.m. with burial in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Stephensport, KY.
