Can you imagine eating peanut butter and bologna with mustard on Wonder Bread? No! Then let me introduce you to the inventor of this fine cuisine.

Barry Dale Swan was born in Salt Lake City, UT to Dale Dye and Margaret B. (McEwan) Swan on October 4, 1943. He graduated from Granite High School and started his 45 year career as a Foreman at Hi-Grade Meats. He married Karen Budd in Elko, Nevada on July 31, 1977. Barry loved fishing, hunting, camping and taking motor home trips with his family and his many dogs. He constantly joked around with anyone and everyone he met. Barry passed away suddenly at home on May 7, 2010 after spending a great day with his family and working in his yard. His legacy will be carried on by his children Christopher (Annie), Chad (Melissa) and Mindy (Jerron) as well as the four best grandkids on earth: Kaylie, Kennedy, Keegan and Alexis, who all loved his constant teasing and his huge heart. His memory will also be cherished by his brother Russell (Joyce) Swan and sisters Barbara (Walter) Iwaniec and Tracy (Thomas) Stanley.

Friends and family are invited to a casual celebration of Barry's life on Friday, May 14th from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Lone Peak Park - Indoor Pavilion, located at 10140 South 700 East.

Come fill yourself with Hi-Grade hot dogs, PBB&M sandwiches and memories of Barry Swan. (Please, no flowers.)
