Robert Joseph Bechard, 76, of 46 Lake St., Nashua died Monday morning, July 28, 1997, at St. Joseph Hospital.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Bechard had been employed as a supervisor by Fimbel Door Corp.
He was a communicant of St. Louis de Gonzague Church.
Mr. Bechard was a member of the American Legion Post #3.
He was educated in local schools.
A native and lifelong resident of Nashua, Mr. Bechard was born December 1, 1920, son of the late Joseph and Laura (Gilbert) Bechard.
Survivors include his wife, Gertrude (Belanger) Bechard, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Laurette Bechard of Nashua, Cecile and Ronald Boliver of Auburn, Mass., and Marguerite and Conrad Schmidt of Medfield, Mass.; three brothers and sisters-in law, Albert and Jeanne Bechard, Charles and Annette Bechard and Arthur and Angie Bechard, all of Nashua; five sisters and brothers-in-law, Leah and Roland Jean, Irene and Wilfred Bois, Rita and Laurent Noel, Theresa and Rene Tremblay and Rache and Rene Orthot, all of Nashua; four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
