Anthony Carcione, 82 of Pen Argyl, formerly of Roseto, died Sept. 19 in ManorCare Health Services, Palmer Township. He was married to Sarah (Milazzo) Carcione for 49 years in April.

A member of the Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees, he worked for Maria-Rose Fashions, Bangor until retiring in 1985.

Born in Roseto, he was a son of the late Joseph and Concetta (DeStefano) Carcione.

He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, Roseto and its Holy Name Society.

He was a member of American Legion Martocci-Capobianco Post 750 and a life member of Columbia Volunteer Fire Company, both of Roseto. He was a member of Roseto Senior Citizens and AARP.

Survivors: Wife; daughter, Connie Smith of Pen Argyl; sons, Joseph of Fleetwood, Andrew at home; sisters, Caroline Trigiani of Nazareth, Carmella Rizzo of Toms River, N.J., Mary Valente of Bronx, N.Y.; two granddaughters
