Lloyd Wesley Turner, RCN & Evelyn Roberta Gallie. Married 24 July 1945 at St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, New Mills, Colborne Parish, Restigouche County, New Brunswick, Canada.
For the first time in 38 years I was able to visit my grandma. She was cremated and flown to be buried in New Mills, Canada. I was also able to visit my great grandparents, and several uncle's and and aunts graves.
Not getting to go was a bit of a sore spot for me. We were so close. Since my mom was in the Army, my grandparents had custodianship and raised me until she died when I was seven. That last time I visited family in Canada with her I was four, best summer ever. I also got to visit my grandfather. He was Royal Canadian Navy, buried at sea.
