Wife of William G Carver, likely memorialized here, of Meyerstown, Lebanon, PA. According to the Civil War Pension Index, Julia filed as a widow on 9 Feb 1881. An article in the 24 Oct 1885 edition of York, PA's newspaper The York Daily reports that Julia, widow of the late William G Carver, had recently received "$2,000 back pension due her husband for wounds and disability incurred in the service." The Veterans Schedule of the eleventh US census in Jun 1890 lists Julia as a widow.
