DELHI (Special) — Funeral services for Ronald [sic Roland] Larry Abraugh, 101, of Rt. 3, Delhi, will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home here, with the Rev. Grafton Yates officiating.

Burial will be in Delhi Masonic Cemetery.

Mr. Abraugh, a native of Caldwell Parish, died Thursday morning at his residence after a lengthy illness. He had lived in the Delhi area for 80 years and was a member of the Franklin Parish School board from 1925 to 1948.

He was the father of Charlie Abraugh of Monroe.

Mr. Abraugh had good eyesight until near his death and a family spokesman said he worked around his farm until about 10 years ago. He had been active in politics until only six years ago.

Other survivors include a son, Hiram Abraugh, Fresno, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Bertha Thomas, Mrs. Zelia Rundall [sic Rundell] and Miss Camelia [sic Cornelia] Abraugh, all of Delhi, and Mrs. Viola Smith of Shreveport; a sister, Mrs. Mary Wood of Hebert; 19 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Marshall Reagon, Gerald Rushton, Harold Williams, Bill Autonberry, Buddy Forgey, Eddie Cook and James Arnold.
