James Kyle Price Sr., age 88, passed away Friday, October 25, 2013, at Signature Health Care of Rogersville. He was a member and trustee of Morrisette's Chapel Missionary Baptist Church. He was a US Navy Veteran having served his country for 5 years and assisted in the aftermath in Pearl Harbor. He enjoyed making music with his friends all around the local area and loved to fish.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Nettie Price; wife, Brenda Coffey Price; mother of his children, Greta Price; sister, Lois Humphrey; and brother, Carroll Price.

He is survived by his sons, James Price Jr. and Hugh Lynn Price; sisters, Ruby Adams (Sonny) and Mary Ann Maddox (Carmel); brother, Bob Price (Emogene) and Fred Price (Judy); several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

There will be a graveside service at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Lee Valley Cemetery with Chaplain Tim Seaton officiating. All those wishing to attend are ask to meet at the cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.christiansells.com.
