YORKTOWN - Herman Green Dail, 74, of 30 Buckner St., died Wednesday in his home. Born in North Carolina, he had been a Peninsula resident for 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Clara Dail, a daughter, Mrs. Wanda Bradby of Wilmington, NC, a sister, a brother and a grandchild. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. Armory Funeral Home is in charge.
There is a second obit that reads: Herman G Dail, Yorktown - A memorial service for Herman G Dail, who died Wednesday will be conducted at 6 p.m. Monday in Armory Funeral Home, Grafton, by the Rev. Karl Heilman of Yorktown Baptist Church.
*Side Note Here: Where it reads he has a sister, a brother and grandchild. The sister would be Eula Grace (Dail) Anderson of Clinton, NC and Jesse Malcolm Dail of either Florida or Kentucky in 1974. Also, not sure on his middle name, I read it was Glenn but his obit says Green. Clara Dail is his second wife as Annie Lee (Harrison) Dail was his first wife.
