Macomb, IL - Velma V. Adams, 85, of 900 E. Jefferson, formerly of Bartonville, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 1992, at Macomb Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born July 14, 1906, in Johnston City to John and Mary Paritt Hartman, she married Walter Adams on May 22, 1924, in Kewanee. He died Dec. 7, 1977.

Two sons, John and Walter, two brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Surviving are one son, Donald of Macomb; one daughter, Mary Maberry of Sunnyvale, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of Bardolph Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Sunshine Club, Rainbow Club, and was past officer of Queen Ester Shrine.

Burial will be in Bardolph Cemetery in Bardolph.
