Funeral service for Mr. Jimmy Dean Clarke, age 73 of Cedar Grove, will be held at 3 pm on Thursday, October 10, 2013 at the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church near Lavinia. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held on Wednesday evening from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home and from 2 - 3 pm Thursday at the church.
Mr. Clarke was a lifetime member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church where he served as Chairman of the Administrative Board and also served as Song Leader. He was the retired owner and operator of Clarke's Grocery Store in Cedar Grove.

Daughter - Dr. Melinda Clarke
Sons - Scott (Christy) Clarke and Cary Wesley (Kimberly) Clarke
Sisters - Bobbie Little, Jessie Scott and Jan Bailey
Grandson - Chance Clarke
He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Emma Cary Clarke, three brothers Edward Clarke, Carmen Clarke and Bill Clarke, and three sisters Jean Martin, Doris Walls and Eloise Garduski.
