Jessie Marie (Jordan) Phelps, age 97 of London, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Saint Joseph London Hospital. She was the mother of; Danny Phelps and Fred Phelps and wife Maureen all of London, Kentucky, and Lois Lee (Phelps) Davis and husband Robert of Cincinnati, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Matthew Phelps and wife Carrie, Elizabeth Dawson and husband Dr. Bart Dawson, Sara Steinlage and husband Paul, and James Davis and wife Samantha, and by her great-grandchildren; Benjamin Phelps, Lauren Phelps, Bernard Dawson, Mary Elizabeth Dawson, Henry Dawson, Joseph Dawson, Emily Steinlage, Katherine Steinlage, Joshua Steinlage, and Addison Davis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilmore O. Phelps, by her parents, Victor A. Jordan and Maude Carnes Jordan, and by her siblings; Lois Jordan, Jackson Jordan, and James William Jordan. Funeral Services for Jessie Marie (Jordan) Phelps will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, October 22, 2016 at First Baptist Church of London with Jerry Wright officiating. Entombment will follow at A.R. Dyche Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers; Bob Sparkman, Matthew Phelps, Benjamin Phelps, Paul Steinlage, Mark Dawson, and James Davis.
